Goldfinch
For Goldfinch, the goal was clear: distill the elegance, heritage, and layered complexity of a premium single malt into one unforgettable visual. Goldfinch isn’t just a whisky — it’s a narrative in a glass. A story of craftsmanship, tradition, and golden-hour indulgence. We wanted our render to echo that legacy with quiet confidence.

We designed a warm, cinematic environment inspired by old-world distilleries and oak-walled lounges. The bottle is centered on a polished walnut surface, lit by a low amber glow — as if it’s catching the final rays of a Highland sunset. Around it, hints of leather-bound books, a crystal tumbler, and curling wood shavings suggest history and handwork.
The goldfinch — the bird — was subtly integrated as a design motif: etched into the bottle cap and embossed on the label’s crest. We added a soft feather in the scene, resting gently near the base of the bottle, a poetic nod to the brand’s name and identity.
We crafted the 3D model to reflect the richness of the whisky itself. The liquid features a deep golden hue with a touch of fire — reflecting notes of honey, peat, and charred oak. The glass bottle has clean, beveled edges, with embossing that feels premium and tactile. Lighting played a key role — warm, soft, directional — to evoke a sense of contemplation and quiet luxury.
The final visual felt timeless and evocative. It didn’t scream luxury — it whispered it. The result became a centerpiece for Goldfinch’s product launch and social media — conveying not just what the whisky looks like, but how it feels to drink it: smooth, strong, and steeped in tradition.
